I surrender the guards at the entrance of my heart.

   
I surrender the guards at the entrance of my heart. 

I kiss them on the forehead lightly and whisper to them "Go rest. It is time, you have worked hard and diligently to protect the thing I treasure the most". 

They give me the keys and smile. 

I open the doors and let all the light out.
