Abundance: The Revolutionary Practice We Need Now
From My Heart to Yours,
For these past few weeks, every morning, I sit in sacred space with our Born For This community. After we move through our intentional morning practice together, I often feel called to share whatever wisdom is flowing through me in that moment.
These transmissions are unplanned—they emerge from the collective energy we've cultivated together and from whatever divine guidance is present. Today, I'm sharing insights from one of our most powerful recent conversations.

These transmissions are unplanned—they emerge from the collective energy we've cultivated together and from whatever divine guidance is present. Today, I'm sharing insights from one of our most powerful recent conversations.
The Radical Truth About Abundance
In our latest Born For This morning session, I found myself speaking passionately about abundance—a concept so misunderstood yet so desperately needed in our current world.
Abundance isn't what our capitalist systems have programmed us to believe. It isn't about accumulation or reaching some magical number in your bank account that will finally make you feel "secure."
The true energy of abundance is knowing—deep in your cells—that you are enough and there is enough. It's both an internal state and the physical manifestation of love in the world. It becomes a lens through which you perceive everything.
When we live from this knowing, everything shifts.
Why We Must Become Students of Abundance Now
I shared with our morning circle that becoming students of abundance isn't optional anymore—it's essential medicine for navigating these times.
Look around. Our world is constantly broadcasting scarcity, lack, and fear. These messages seep into our consciousness, affecting how we move through life, how we relate to others, and how we perceive our own value.
Deliberately studying abundance becomes an act of resistance—a revolutionary stance against systems designed to keep us feeling insufficient and separate.
The Teachers Who Showed Me True Abundance
Some of my most profound lessons in abundance came from unexpected places.
I told our circle about Las Patronas, women in Veracruz, Mexico, who for decades have prepared food packages to throw to migrants riding atop trains passing through their village. These women, who themselves live with limited material resources, embody the spirit of abundance through their consistent, generous action.
I also shared stories from my time in India, where I witnessed communities with minimal material possessions practicing radical generosity and joy. Their wealth flowed through relationships, communal support, and a bone-deep understanding that we rise together.
Abundance as Trust and Commitment
One truth I emphasized in our session: abundance doesn't just magically appear when you're in complete lack or scarcity.
Rather, it's a commitment to life itself and a trust in whatever you feel is guiding you. It's a practice of alignment with the natural flow of giving and receiving that exists in all living systems.
This practice requires presence. It requires community. And it requires consistent tending.
From Ancestral Scarcity to Chosen Abundance
During our conversation, many participants shared how they're working to transform scarcity mindsets inherited from ancestors who experienced war, displacement, and profound loss.
This intergenerational healing work is sacred. When we consciously shift these patterns within ourselves, we create ripples that extend backward to honor our ancestors and forward to liberate future generations.
"Abundance is more than material wealth," one sweet participant named Cherise reminded us. Sweet Nazdira, vulnerably shared her journey from material poverty to cultivating an abundance mindset—a powerful testimony to this transformative work.
The Community Dimension
Sweet Amanda, another beloved member of our circle, highlighted something essential that many forget—abundance is inherently connected to community responsibility. True abundance isn't hoarding resources but ensuring they flow for the benefit of all.
This perspective challenges the individualistic narratives we've been fed and returns us to the wisdom of indigenous and ancestral ways of being in relationship with resources.

Walking Between Worlds: The Transformative Power of 1:1 Mentorship
A personal invitation from Xóchitl Kusikuy Ashé
When Ancient Wisdom Meets Modern Seeking
The first time I felt the call of my ancestors, I was just 16 years old.
Standing at the threshold between childhood and adulthood, I became the first woman in five generations to be initiated into the healing traditions of my Peruvian lineage. This wasn't a path I chose from a catalog of career options—it chose me, as these traditions have chosen their keepers for thousands of years.
For more than 30 years now, I've walked between worlds—carrying ancient wisdom through modern landscapes, translating timeless healing practices for contemporary wounds, and creating bridges between what was, what is, and what could be.

My journey has been one of deep apprenticeship. For 23 years, I studied under my Godfather, a Mazatec Medicine Man who holds the ancient tradition of healing with Teonanacatl (sacred psilocybin mushrooms). I've trained extensively in the Peruvian Andean tradition, working with sacred plant medicines since my initiation.
This path has not been easy. It has demanded everything from me—surrender, discipline, trust, and a willingness to be continuously undone and remade.
But it has given me something precious in return: the ability to guide others through their own unmaking and remaking.
Why Mentorship Matters Now More Than Ever
We live in unprecedented times.
Ancient prophecies from many traditions speak of this era—a time of great upheaval when the old systems fail and new possibilities emerge. A time when we're called to remember who we truly are and what we're truly capable of becoming.
My elders taught me that in times like these, personal guidance becomes essential.
While group workshops and ceremonies serve vital purposes (and I continue to offer them with devotion), there is something irreplaceable about the container of 1:1 mentorship—a sacred space where your unique journey receives undivided attention, where your specific challenges meet tailored medicine, where your individual gifts can be recognized and cultivated.
In the traditional way, healing and transformation were never meant to be generic. The medicine that awakens one person might put another to sleep. The practice that liberates one spirit might constrain another.
This is why the ancient way has always included personal mentorship—the intimate transmission of wisdom from guide to seeker, customized for your specific constitution, life circumstance, and soul purpose.
What Happens in 1:1 Mentorship
My approach to mentorship is both ancient and adaptive, rooted in lineage practices while responsive to contemporary needs.
When we work together one-on-one, we create a container unlike any other—a sanctuary where:
Your unique spiritual fingerprint is honored and worked with, not against
The specific patterns blocking your growth become visible and addressable
Ancient practices are tailored to your particular constitution and life circumstances
Your questions receive direct, unfiltered responses
Your unique gifts and medicine are recognized, cultivated, and empowered
We move at precisely the pace your system needs—not too fast, not too slow
Over my 30+ years of guiding others, I've witnessed transformations that seemed impossible at the outset: chronic illnesses resolved, decades-old trauma integrated, relationships healed, life purposes discovered and embraced, and the remembering of joy as a birthright rather than a fleeting visitor.
These transformations weren't magic—they were the result of dedicated practice, fierce honesty, and the power of having personalized guidance through territory too complex to navigate alone.
Is This Calling to You?
Mentorship isn't for everyone, and I don't take the responsibility lightly.
This work is for you if:
You sense you're being called to a deeper level of healing and awakening
You've benefited from group work but now feel drawn to more personalized guidance
You're ready to commit to your transformation with consistency and courage
You're willing to look at what's been hidden and work with what emerges
You feel a resonance with ancestral wisdom and earth-based spiritual practices
You're seeking not just information but transmission and embodied knowing
The ancestors taught me that when the student is ready, the teacher appears. If you've read this far, perhaps we're meant to work together in this sacred way.
How We Begin
My 1:1 mentorships are intentionally limited to ensure I can give each person the depth of attention this work deserves. Each mentorship journey is uniquely designed, though most begin with a series of foundational sessions that establish our container and clarify your specific path.
Some mentorships last for a defined period focused on specific transformation, while others evolve into ongoing relationships spanning years or even decades. The form follows the need.
If you feel called to explore 1:1 mentorship, I invite you to take the first step by clicking here to learn more about the process, investment, and how to schedule an initial conversation.
This call isn't about enrollment or sales—it's a mutual discernment process where we both listen deeply to whether we're meant to walk together at this time.
The Invitation
In my tradition, we understand that the most profound healing happens when the right medicine meets the right person at the right time.
If these words have stirred something in you—a recognition, a remembering, a quiet yes or even a nervous flutter—I honor that response as significant.
Trust the wisdom of your body and spirit. If we're meant to work together, you'll know.
